‘People were aghast at seeing such an emotional confrontation. Halfway through, a fan came over and Coogan was really brusque with him, telling him they were having a private conversation, and putting out his hand to fend him off.
‘The worst part was he seemed so uncaring and cold towards Daisy. There was not a hint of kindness. He seemed more interested in himself.’
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Daisy and Steve and is awaiting comment.

The pair shared an embrace before Coogan saw Lewis into a taxi and flagged another down for himself.
Despite the fiery argument, Daisy returned to the club later on having undergone a costume change and looked much happier.
She swapped her 60s-inspired ensemble for a pretty pastel dress and chunky heels which she teamed with a leather jacket and a trendy black fedora.
She flashed a bright white smile as she hung out with a group of pals and was spotted sharing a warm embrace with a mystery man.
The couple met through friends last June and had a make-or-break trip to the Lake District just two weeks ago. Coogan has a house there and Daisy went to stay with him in the hope of reconciling their differences.

Face of thunder: Coogan had a stern look in his eyes as he strolled through the night
Time to go: Once Daisy had left, the actor looked to make his own exit
But once back in London, with Daisy being feted for her performance in the cult comedy, Coogan had another ill-tempered outburst.
A friend of the pair said: ‘He was trying and trying to have the last word. He did not like the fact she was working – even less that the show is such a big hit. It was as if he did not want someone who’s a professional in her own right as a girlfriend, that he’d rather have someone at his beck and call.’
The couple went public last year, and were first pictured together in Dublin in September. They then walked the red carpet at a Hallowe’en Ball where they dressed as 1930s outlaws Bonnie and Clyde, and in March, they were spotted at London parties.
They marked their deepening relationship by getting a puppy, a labradoodle called Dougal, a gift from Lewis to Coogan. However, by the standards of a showbusiness romance, they have been low-key.
