The West Coast's first festival of the year is for everyone

Annual Sacramento Scandinavian Festival - all you never knew you wanted to know about the Nordic countries. And then some.

  The Sacramento festival features traditional Scandinavian foods, baked goods and merchandise for sale.

• This year marks the 36th annual Sacramento Scandinavian Festival, celebrated at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center on March 30, 2019. Get all the information you’re looking for about the Nordic countries and enjoy music, entertainment and door prizes! The festival features traditional Scandinavian foods, baked goods and merchandise for sale.

• Doors open at 10 a.m., Scandinavian dances will be performed at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.—with audience participation—and a special flag ceremony takes place at noon. Viking reenactors will be present with interactive activities for the whole family. Open until 4 p.m. Join in the family fun!
