Howard County 'Bucket List' – Terrapin Adventures

Have you ever dreamed of soaring through the treeline or climbing a mountain? Do your kids need a new way to get some energy out?

Well you don't have to travel far to get that kind of experience, just head to

"Basically, we're all about connecting–making people connect on a different level with each other," says , who set up shop at the Mill four years ago.

Baker says students and tour groups go through team-building exercises where people who normally work together in the office or classroom, can learn to problem solve in a new and fun environment.

"We try to break down those barriers. Granted, we can't solve all of those problems in a one-day program, but we can get them thinking a little differently," Baker told Patch.

Dayvon Cuffey, 13, recently dared the courses at Terrapin Adventures with his seventh-grade class from Marley Middle School in Glen Burnie. He said he will be recommending the destination to friends in the future.

"I've never really been climbing... And I learned how to use equipment that you need to climb," Cuffey said.
