I said, "Why did you do it alone?"
Big hujur said,"At first I had to go alone because I had no one to trust me. I had to travel around the country to find a safe place to set up bases. I did not set up bases in the forests of the country because there were no roads to transport the necessary equipment."
I said,"I read in the story that Robinhood used to take shelter in the forests of England. And I have learned in history that in the anti-British movement, many rebel soldiers went to the jungles and fought for shelter."
Big hujur said, "The forest department was not very active at that time. Many persons hunted wild animals and have been able to do whatever they want in the forest. But at present it has become very difficult to kill any ordinary wild animal. There are also settlements in the area where there is a road. So I decided on this shelf of the Jamuna. Then I needed some trusted people. Then I met Badr Ali. As the saying goes, 'Jewel knows jewel, bug knows pillow.' Such is the situation between me and Badr Ali. I was looking for a man who would be my faithful assistant and trainer for my followers. And he is an anti-India and expelled from the army. So within a short time of our meeting and discussion, we became close friends. While I was preaching in different places, I started collecting faithful people. The first thing to consider in recruiting people is those who are bored and frustrated about the world. Because they will not hesitate to become martyrs. I built this base like a normal house. So no one outside suspected. But first I built this base through one of my Tablighi brothers without the permission of the owner of this shelf. So one day the owner of the shelf came and started cursing my Tablighi brother,"Is this anarchic country? How dare you make a place for so many people on my shelf?' I was humiliated too."
I said, "Why did you set up base on someone else's land without permission?"
Big hujur said, "I thought the owner of this desolate shelf of the Jamuna would not inquire."
I said, "Is there any place in the world that has no owner? Even the United Nations owns has building in New York, USA. The Vatican City is owned by the Church.Even if you don't, other people will oppose you if you do something wrong."
Big hujur said, "So after the owner's opposition, I realized it was time to invest my money. So I bought this shelf. Then I slowly started to improve the base. Then one day the billionaire said to me via satellite phone, 'Mr. Dulal, how prepared are you?' I said, 'There has been a lot of preparation.' A few days later, the billionaire came to Bangladesh. I told the billionaire the location of this base in latitude and longitude. So he first flew from London to Dhaka on a private plane. But his dignity would be tarnished if he boarded a rented helicopter. So he bought a helicopter. Then he came straight to this base by helicopter from Dhaka. Then I also wrote a poem about that billionaire: -
'You come to this base of the poor.
In what style will I caress you?'
A few days ago, on the occasion of the arrival of the billionaire, I bought a deer from the smugglers in the Sundarbans.We made kebab that deer for billionaire. After eating a little of all the food, the billionaire sighed with satisfaction and said, 'Mr. Dulal, I am satisfied with your caress. Will anyone else in Bangladesh ever be able to do what you are preparing to do to seize power in the country?And you didn't pick them up from the Chaktai canal.' আমি বললাম,"আপনি এককভাবে করলেন কেন?"
বড় হুজুর বললেন,"প্রথমে কোন বিশ্বস্ত লোক না থাকার কারণে আমাকে একাই করতে হয়েছিলো।সারাদেশ ঘুরে আমাকে একটা নিরাপদ স্থান নির্ধারণ করতে হয়েছে ঘাঁটি তৈরি করার জন্য। দেশের বনাঞ্চলে ঘাঁটি তৈরি করিনি প্রয়োজনীয় সরঞ্জাম পরিবহনের জন্য রাস্তা না থাকার কারণে।"
আমি বললাম,"গল্পে পড়েছি, রবিনহুড ইংল্যান্ডের বনাঞ্চলে আস্তানা গেড়ে নিজের কর্মকাণ্ড পরিচালনা করতেন। এবং ইতিহাসে জেনেছি ব্রিটিশ বিরোধী আন্দোলনে অনেক বিদ্রোহী সেনা বনে-জঙ্গলে গিয়ে আশ্রয় নিয়ে যুদ্ধ করেছেন। তাহলে আপনি কেন বনাঞ্চলে আস্তানা স্থাপন না করে এই যমুনা নদীর বালুচরে স্থাপন করলেন?"
বড় হুজুর বললেন,"সেই সময়ে বন বিভাগ এতো সক্রিয় ছিল না। যে যার মতো দেদারছে বন্যপ্রাণী শিকার করেছে এবং বন জঙ্গলে অবস্থান করে যা খুশি তা করতে পেরেছে। কিন্তু বর্তমান সময়ে বনবিভাগের তৎপরতার কারণে বন জঙ্গলে অবস্থান করে যা খুশি তা করা তো দূরের কথা, কোন সাধারন বন্যপ্রাণী হত্যা করা অত্যন্ত কঠিন হয়েছে। আবার যে এলাকায় রাস্তা আছে,সেই এলাকায় জনবসতিও আছে।তাই যমুনার এই বালুচর নির্ধারণ করলাম। এরপর বিশ্বস্ত কিছু লোকের দরকার হলো।তখন সাক্ষাৎ হলো বদর আলির সঙ্গে। কথায় আছে,'রতনে রতন চেনে,ছারপোকায় চেনে বালিশ' তেমনি অবস্থা হলো আমার আর বদর আলির মধ্যে।আমি খুঁজছিলাম এমন একজন লোককে,যে লোক আমার বিশ্বস্ত সহকারী হবে এবং আমার অনুসারীদের প্রশিক্ষকও হবে।বদর আলি সেনা অফিসার এবং আর্টিলারি বিভাগের লোক।তাকে দিয়ে আমার লোকদেরকে রাইফেল চালানো ও সামরিক প্রশিক্ষণ দেয়া সহজ হবে।এবং সে ভারত বিরোধী ও সেনাবাহিনী থেকে বহিষ্কৃত লোক।তাই আমাদের সাক্ষাৎ ও আলোচনার অল্প সময়ের মধ্যেই একে অপরের আপনজন হয়ে গেলাম। এরপর এই বালুচরে ধীরে ধীরে গড়ে তোললাম বিল্ডিং আর টিনশেডের ওই ঘরগুলো।এরপর লোক সংগ্রহ শুরু করলাম। কাকরাইল মসজিদে,মসজিদের বাইরে আর বিভিন্ন স্থানে তাবলিগের কাজ করার সময় বিশ্বস্ত লোক সংগ্ৰহ করা শুরু করলাম।লোক সংগ্ৰহ করার ক্ষেত্রে প্রথম বিবেচনার বিষয় হলো, দুনিয়া সম্পর্কে যারা উদাস ও হতাশ হয়ে গিয়েছে।কেননা ওরাই শহিদ হতে দ্বিধা করবে না।সাধারণ বাড়ি - ঘরের মতো করে এই ঘাঁটি তৈরি করেছিলাম।তাই বাইরের কেউই সন্দেহ করেনি। তবে প্রথমে এই বালুচরের মালিকের অনুমতি না নিয়ে আমার এক তাবলিগি ভাইয়ের মাধ্যমে এই ঘাঁটি তৈরি করেছিলাম।তাই একদিন বালুচরের মালিক এসে আমার তাবলিগি ভাইকে গালিগালাজ শুরু করলো,'এটা কি মগের মুল্লুক? আমার বালুচরে এতো মানুষের থাকার জায়গা করেছেন কোন সাহসে?' এতে আমিও অপমানিত হলাম।"
আমি বললাম,"আপনি কেন আরেকজনের জমিতে অর্থাৎ বালুচরে বিনা অনুমতিতে ঘাঁটি তৈরি করলেন?"
বড় হুজুর বললেন,"মনে করেছিলাম যমুনার এই নির্জন বালুচরের মালিক কোন খোঁজখবর নেবে না।"
আমি বললাম,"দুনিয়ায় কি এমন কোন স্থান আছে, যে স্থানের কোন মালিক নাই? এমনকি ইউএসএর নিউইয়র্কে জাতিসংঘের ভবনের মালিক জাতিসংঘ।আর ভ্যাটিকান সিটির মালিক হচ্ছে চার্চ। পৃথিবীর যে কোন প্রত্যন্ত ও দুর্গম এলাকায় জমি থাকলেও মালিক ঠিকই খোঁজ নেন।মালিক নিজে জমিতে কিছু না করলেও অন্য লোকেরা অন্যায়ভাবে কিছু করলে ঠিকই বিরোধিতা করবেন।"
বড় হুজুর বললেন,"তাই মালিকের বিরোধিতার পর বুঝলাম,আমার টাকা ইনভেস্ট করার সময় এসেছে। তাই এই বালুচরটা কিনে নিলাম।এরপর ধীরে ধীরে ঘাঁটিটা উন্নত করতে লাগলাম।এরপর একদিন আমাকে বিলিয়নিয়ার স্যাটেলাইট ফোনের মাধ্যমে বললেন,'দুলাল সাহেব,আপনাদের প্রস্তুতি কতটুকু হয়েছে?' আমি বললাম,'প্রস্তুতি অনেক হয়েছে।' এর কয়েকদিন পর বিলিয়নিয়ার এলেন বাংলাদেশে। বিলিয়নিয়ারকে আমি এই ঘাঁটির অবস্থান অক্ষাংশ ও দ্রাঘিমাংশে বলে দিয়েছিলাম।তাই প্রথমে লন্ডন থেকে ব্যক্তিগত বিমানে এলেন ঢাকাতে। কিন্তু ভাড়া করা হেলিকপ্টারে চড়লে তিনির মর্যাদা ক্ষুণ্ন হবে।তাই একটা হেলিকপ্টারই তিনি কিনে নিলেন।এরপর ঢাকা থেকে হেলিকপ্টারে সোজা চলে এলেন এই ঘাঁটিতে। তখন আমি একটা কবিতাও লিখে ফেললাম ওই বিলিয়নিয়ারকে নিয়ে :-
'গরিবের এই ঘাঁটিতে করলে তুমি আগমন।
কোন স্টাইলে করব তোমায় আদর - আপ্যায়ন?'
বিলিয়নিয়ারের আগমন উপলক্ষ্যে কয়েকদিন আগে সুন্দরবনের চোরাকারবারীদের কাছ থেকে একটা হরিণ কিনে আনিয়েছিলাম।সেটাকেই কাবাব করা হলো।সঙ্গে আরো উন্নত খাবার। সকল খাবার থেকে অল্প অল্প করে খেয়ে বিলিয়নিয়ার তৃপ্তির ঢেঁকুর তোলে বললেন,'দুলাল সাহেব,আপনার আদর - আপ্যায়নে আমি সন্তুষ্ট।আপনি দেশের ক্ষমতা দখল করতে যে প্রস্তুতি নিচ্ছেন,সেটা বাংলাদেশে অন্য কেউ কখনো করতে পারবে?আর আপনি তো এগুলো চাকতাই খাল থেকে কুড়িয়ে এনে গড়েননি।' এরপর তিনি আমার সঙ্গে ভবিষ্যৎ পরিকল্পনা করে লন্ডনে চলে গেলেন।"(চলবে 27- http://ow.ly/1Wer103I5l8) ©️All Right Reserved by Junayed Ashrafur Rahman
