VDOT has a snow-removal program for interstates and high-volume roads (highways, Fairfax County Parkway). Running concurrently, a separate program handles subdivisions, including main neighborhood thoroughfares and residential streets. Roads with highest traffic volumes are cleared first.

You can report unplowed roads to novainfo@vdot.virginia.gov or 800-367-7623.
