Taylor Swift has reportedly been given an Instagram tool to block out abusive fan comments on her social media account.
The Times report that the secret weapon enables her to shape the comments about her on her social media profile, rather than contact them about each one.
The Bad Blood singer has been inundated with comments and 'snake' emojis as fans turned on her following her recent spat with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

The feud occurred when Kim Kardashian leaked a recording which appeared to show that Taylor Swift had been consulted by Kanye when it came to the line about him bedding her in his Famous song.
But Taylor has since hit back, explaining that she had not known the context and Kanye had failed to mention he would be referring to the songstress as a 'b**ch'.
Instagram are testing a tool with a group of accounts who have high volume comments to help them prevent/manage abusive or spammy comments.
A source told MailOnline it's not about stifling debate, but more about finding effective ways to prevent inappropriate comments or online bullying.
But regardless, not everyone was supportive of the tool.
'So instagram is just deleting sh*t for Taylor Swift but don't do nothing when racists harass pl and say the nword' (sic),' one user wrote.

According to the publication: Instagram revealed it's unveiling a new tool to help high profile accounts manage negative comments.
An Instagram spokesperson did not confirm that Taylor had the tool but told MailOnline: 'We’re always looking for ways to help people have a positive experience with comments on Instagram.
'We're currently focused on providing tools to improve accounts with the most high-volume comment threads. We will use our learnings to continue to improve the comment experience on Instagram.'

Last week, Taylor took to Instagram to defend herself after Kim Kardashian leaked video of the Blank Space singer appearing to give permission for Kanye to mention her in his song Famous.
Following months of opposing arguments from Taylor and Kanye and his wife Kim, the latter took the feud to a whole new level on Sunday.
Kim leaked a recording of Kanye's conversation with Taylor about the track on speakerphone - believed to have taken place in January - in a bid to prove the singer was fully aware of the lyrics.

In the video, Kanye reads out the lyrics 'I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex', which the pop star concedes is 'like a compliment'.
Taylor wrote that she just wants Kim and Kanye to leave her alone, adding: 'Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me b***h in that song? It doesn't exist because it never happened.'
She continued: 'While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot 'approve' a song you haven't heard.

Taylor is said to be considering legal action over the recording, claiming she did not consent to being taped.
