national holidays

Does anyone know how Merlin processes national holidays? When I add them in the Working Time Inspector (exeptions), they don't show in the project. Activities do not conflict with them. I'd expect national holidays to be highlighted (or be gray, like the weekend days) in projects, but Merlin shows nothing whatsoever.

I entered national holidays for all my projects and I have no issue.
Make sure you enter those national holidays at project level.
Means selecting top first line of the project and check you have
national holidays visible in exception inspector.
Then in view option, check you have selected "non working times" as
"based on project calendar".
If your project view is at "week" level and national holiday is only 1
day, then you won't see it.
To see it, you should magnify your project until you see per day and
you will see your exception with greyscale.
