Metro-North Service Update

Additional Train to the Game Service, Sunday, July 4

The Subway Series between the Yankees and Mets at Yankee Stadium will continue on Independence Day, Sunday, July 4, as part of a day-night double header, due to inclement weather on Friday.

The Yankees day-matchup against the Mets is rescheduled for 2:05 p.m. Tickets for Friday night's rained-out game are valid for this game only. First pitch for the evening matchup will occur at 7:08 p.m.

Here's Metro-North's line-up card for the two games:

2:05 p.m. Game

Hudson Line:

To The Game:

  • A Yankee Clipper train departs Poughkeepsie at 10:47 a.m., making all stops to Croton-Harmon, then Ossining and Tarrytown before arriving at Yankees E. 153rd St. at 12:23 p.m.
  • A second Yankee Clipper train departs Croton-Harmon at 12:20 p.m., stops at Ossining and Tarrytown before arriving at Yankees E. 153rd St. at 12:56 p.m.
  • Four regularly scheduled Poughkeepsie-New York trains add the stop at Yankees E. 153rd St.
  • All Croton-Harmon-New York local trains stop at Yankee Stadium.

Shuttle trains from Grand Central Terminal to Yankee Stadium depart GCT at 10:40 a.m., 11:40 a.m., 12:40 p.m. and 1:40 p.m., stopping at Harlem 125th St.

After The Game:

  • Two Yankee Clipper trains depart Yankees E. 153rd St. after the game, including an express to Tarrytown, Ossining and then all stops Croton-Harmon to Poughkeepsie, and the second, a local train making all stops to Croton-Harmon.
  • All regularly scheduled Poughkeepsie express and Croton-Harmon local trains stop at Yankees E. 153rd St.
  • Shuttle trains from Yankee E. 153rd St. to Harlem 125th St. and GCT will operate hourly.

New Haven Line:

To The Game:

  • A Yankee Clipper train departs New Haven at 11:07 a.m., stopping at West Haven, Milford, Stratford, Bridgeport, Fairfield Metro, Fairfield, Westport, South Norwalk, Darien, Noroton Heights, Stamford, Greenwich, Rye, Larchmont and New Rochelle before arriving at Yankee Stadium at 1:08 p.m.
  • A second Yankee Clipper train departs Stamford at 12:31 p.m., making all local stops to Mt. Vernon East and arriving at Yankee Stadium at 1:30 p.m.
  • Customers may also ride other New Haven Line trains which stop at Harlem 125th St. and transfer to Hudson Line or Shuttle trains to Yankees E. 153rd St.

After The Game:

Three Yankee Clipper trains depart Yankee Stadium after the game:

  • One Yankee Clipper operates express to Stamford, then all stops to New Haven.
  • One Yankee Clipper operates local making all stops between Mt Vernon East and Stamford.
  • One Yankee Clipper operates local making all stops from Mt. Vernon East to New Haven.

Customers may also ride any Hudson Line or Shuttle train to Harlem 125th St. and transfer to regularly scheduled New Haven Line trains.

7:08 p.m. Game

Hudson Line:

To The Game

  • A Yankee Clipper train departs Poughkeepsie at 4:43 p.m., making all stops to Croton-Harmon, before arriving at Yankees E. 153rd St. at 6:22 p.m.
  • Four regularly scheduled Poughkeepsie-New York trains add the stop at Yankees E. 153rd St.
  • All Croton-Harmon-New York local trains stop at Yankee Stadium.

Shuttle trains from GCT to Yankee E. 153rd St. depart GCT at 4:40 p.m., 5:40 p.m. and 6:40 p.m., stopping at Harlem 125th St. Station.

 After The Game

  • Two Yankee Clipper trains depart Yankees E. 153rd St. after the game, including an express to Tarrytown, Ossining and then all stops Croton-Harmon to Poughkeepsie, and the second a local train making all stops to Croton-Harmon.
  • All regularly scheduled Poughkeepsie express and Croton-Harmon local trains stop at Yankees E. 153rd St.
