  This session will provide an overview of the residency and fellowship process, a look at the 2026 MyERAS application, and an overview of how ERAS acts as stewards of the academic medicine community to share data, collaborate, and innovate – in support of students, medical schools, specialties, sponsoring institutions, and training programs during and beyond the recruitment season.   This session will focus on how the AAMC is supporting and leading the community during this moment of dynamic change triggered by the rise of generative AI. The presenters will share the AAMC's strategy for AI in and for medical education.  Session attendees will leave with awareness of the resources, events, and ways the AAMC is providing to engage at this important moment.   This session will provide an overview of AAMC data resources that can help inform advocacy initiatives, management efforts, outcome assessments, policy analyses, research studies, and other activities. These AAMC data resources include person-level data as well as institutional-level data across the medical education continuum.
