SCOTUS' Gay Marriage Rulings Should Be 'Ignored,' Says American Family Association's Gary Glenn

Lawmakers Should 'Ignore' SCOTUS Ruling If DOMA, Prop 8 Are Overturned, Says Pundit

Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights advocates continue to wait with bated breath for the U.S. Supreme Court to release final rulings on both the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and Prop 8, but one right-wing pundit is offering same-sex marriage opponents an alternative.

As both Right Wing Watch and Joe. My. God. are reporting, the American Family Association's Gary Glenn suggested that Christians and state governors should ignore the much-anticipated SCOTUS ruling if DOMA and Prop 8 are overturned.

Citing Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King Jr., Glenn noted, "God forgive us if we fail to stand ... We will overcome those who threaten our faith and freedom. We will be blessed for doing so."
