Established in 1994, the program celebrates 30 years of recognizing exceptional paralegals who demonstrate in-depth knowledge, refined skills, and proven experience in specific areas of law. Throughout the program's 30-year history, over 700 Texas paralegals have earned the prestigious BCP designation, a testament to their dedication to excellence in the legal profession. A Board Certified Paralegal (BCP) is a paralegal who has met the rigorous standards of the TBLS BCP Program. BCPs have passed a comprehensive examination in their chosen specialty area and have demonstrated a high level of experience and proficiency.
