Indigenous Clean Energy (ICE), along with the 20/20 Catalysts Program, is proud to host the sixth annual Indigenous Clean Energy Forum on July 28, 2023, on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations (Vancouver, BC).


The Forum honours the participants’ success in completing the 20/20 Catalysts Program, year after year.


In 2023, an exceptional cohort of 22 participants from Indigenous communities spanning coast to coast to coast will come together to share their remarkable experiences and accomplishments within the program, and the clean energy projects they are working on for their communities and organizations.

ICE - Eaton Scholarship

ICE has partnered with Eaton Electrical Canada to support Indigenous students across Canada by offering a $5,000 scholarship that can be used for post-secondary education costs, towards apprenticeship, a trade certificate, a diploma, or an engineering degree focused in the electrical field.


Along with the scholarship, a paid internship with Eaton will be provided to give the recipient valuable experience with electrical systems and renewable energy, and an opportunity to explore career paths in the Canadian electrical industry.

Reporting to the Manager of Engagement & Technical Support, within the Asset Strategies Branch, the Energy Projects Advisor contributes to the Aboriginal Housing Management Association’s (AHMA) success by providing expertise in energy efficiency and conservation to ensure sustainability, optimal building performance and growth of the Indigenous Housing sector.

Energy Security Coordinator (SK)

Saskatchewan Environmental Society is seeking an outgoing individual to coordinate SES’s project “Addressing Energy Security in Northern Saskatchewan.” Cold-climate northern, remote, and Indigenous communities face unique challenges related to energy insecurity—it has been a longstanding issue that power is unreliable due to extreme weather and time lags associated with repairs to the power grid.
