Thomas Venskus has been with Fenner Precision Polymers for six years. His journey with the company began in 2019 on the shop floor, where he trained to become an inspector.

With dedication and a drive to grow, he earned a promotion to quality technician in May 2024 after excelling in his interview. Today, he serves as a Quality Engineer, playing a key role in maintaining and enhancing Fenner’s high standards of excellence.

In his role, he addresses both internal and external quality issues, ensuring challenges are resolved swiftly and effectively. This involves creating detailed reports, troubleshooting problems, and implementing solutions to keep operations running smoothly. Collaboration is a cornerstone of his work, as he engages with customers and suppliers to address concerns and maintain strong partnerships.

On the shop floor, he works closely with teams and management to ensure every product meets the highest quality standards before reaching customers. Always looking to improve, he also reviews and updates quality procedures, standards, and specifications to help the company stay at the forefront of innovation.

The variety in his work is a major source of fulfillment. No two days are the same, and the dynamic challenges keep things exciting. He finds problem-solving particularly rewarding, especially when it contributes to delivering exceptional products to customers. Working with a supportive and encouraging team makes tackling even complex issues easier.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and engaging in outdoor activities, including hiking in scenic locations like the Peak District. Traveling is another passion, offering opportunities to explore different countries, towns, and cities while learning about diverse cultures and histories. Thomas also stays active through boxing and kickboxing, pursuits he has been committed to for 13 years. These activities keep him physically and mentally fit, allowing him to build strong bonds inside and outside the ring.
