The gas detector provides ultra-fast response times to detect hydrocarbon gases before they can create dangerous situations. With best-in-class hydrocarbon gas leak detection from a brand you trust, take confidence in knowing this gas detector will perform day-after-day.
Using optical absorption detection technology, the gas detector transmits infrared light through a sapphire lens.
When a gas cloud moves through the detector, some light wavelengths are absorbed by the target gas wavelength, reducing their energy. The light is reflected back into the detector, where the infrared light sensors measure what wavelengths and how much infrared light has been received to determine the gas concentration.
The Rosemount 625IR Fixed Gas Detector is certified to SIL2, SIL3, ATEX, US and IECEx safety standards.
Precise measurement in ducts
Accurate and reliable measurement from inside ducts is a critical safety need. A duct version of the Rosemount 625IR Fixed Gas Detector is available in two lengths – 15 cm (5.9 in) and 35 cm (13.8 in) – giving you even more confidence.

This includes accuracy, response time and operating temperature range.

An adaptor plate provides flexibility when installing the gas detector in place of other manufacturers’ detectors without the need for new mechanical fixings.
