This Greeting Card is fun, easy to make, and the perfect way to spread a little love this February!

Members will learn about using different creative styles and media, including acrylics, pastels, and inks, while exploring abstract and mixed-media artistic stylings.

This activity is meant to be fun and to nurture individual creative expression. Members with all levels of creative skill are encouraged to participate.

Creative Skills Group will happen on Tuesday February 13th from 1:30pm-3:30pm at Empower, 4 Escasoni Place, St John's, NL.

Individuals who are arranging transportation with Go Bus Transit should book their arrival pickup for no earlier than 12:30pm, and their return pickup for no later than 3:45pm.

We will be providing some snacks for this activity. Is there anything we should know about your dietary needs or restrictions?

All supplies that are needed for this activity will be provided, including paints, brushes, spatulas, paper, pastels, markers, etc.

Members are encouraged to gather some items that they think might add to their project such as;
- small pieces of lace or fabric
- buttons
- specialty paper such (scrapbooking paper, music or book pages)
- anything else that they would like to add to their design.

They can also bring tools or items that may add texture to their paint designs such as;

- a toy car
- play dough rollers

- sponges

- stamps

*Members are welcome to bring a small amount of the above listed items but are not required.

**Any extra supplies should be limited to fit into a small ziplock bag or the equivalent.
