Life-saving moment: UK ambulance crew assists elderly man in need

An ambulance crew in the UK was in the right place at the right time recently when they were able to stop and help an elderly man who was bleeding heavily after a fall.

G4S UK ambulance crew Sarah Buss and Heather Young were returning from a call along the high street in Tenterden, UK, when they were flagged down by frantic members of the public.

After finding a safe place to pull over, they rushed to help and found the man bleeding profusely from a head wound, which he’d sustained after falling from the curb into the road.

Stemming the bleeding took every dressing available in their first aid box, but Sarah and Heather were able to keep the man calm and safe until further assistance arrived, allowing them to continue on to their next call.
