Institut Mines-Télécom Business School has officially received re-accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s leading authorities in post-graduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education.
Upon receiving AMBA re-accreditation, all current MBM and recent MBM alumni of Institut Mines-Télécom Business School are invited to continue to be part of AMBA’s global member community of more than 60,000 students and alumni in more than 150 countries on a free basis, for networking, thought leadership, career development, and a variety of benefits.
Accreditation from AMBA represents the highest standard of achievement in post-graduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve AMBA accreditation.
Institut Mines-Télécom Business School is primarily based in Evry, France. The school was founded in 1979 and is under the responsibility of the General Council for the Economy, Industry, Energy and Technologies, which itself is under the supervision of the French Ministry of Industry and the French Ministry of Digital Communications.
During the re-accreditation process conducted by AMBA, members of the accreditation panel, representing senior management from global business schools, commended the school’s focus on digital intelligence. They noted that this encourages innovation with a future-orientated mindset that attracts students.
The panel also felt that the strength of the school’s flagship MBM programme attracted high quality students.
Finally, the fact that the school’s emphasis on pastoral care and student experience was highly appreciated by students was commended by the panel.
Achieving AMBA accreditation once again is a strong sign of international recognition for our Integrated Master in Management,' says Herbert Castéran, Director of the Institut Mines-Télécom Business School. It recognises a teaching model that is resolutely forward-looking and trains leaders capable of combining managerial excellence, digital intelligence and social impact. This award reinforces our ambition to offer a demanding and inclusive education, deeply rooted in the major transitions - digital, environmental and economic.
AMBA accreditation is international in scope and reach, and AMBA works under the belief that accredited programmes should be of the highest standard and consider changing trends and innovation in post-graduate management education. Its accreditation process reflects this commitment to fostering innovation, and demanding business schools to perform at the highest level continually.
Andrew Main Wilson, Chief Executive of the Association of MBAs and Business Graduates Association (BGA) said: “I am absolutely delighted that Institut Mines-Télécom Business School has been re-accredited. This school is an important part of our network and is an interesting case study of an MBM focus on communications. I look forward to working with this school as we move forward.”
