About this ebook

A truly unforgettable Irish romance set on the shores of the Wild Atlantic Way.

Arriving in Sandy Cove to views of the shimmering ocean, Tara O’Rourke is excited to get to work. She’s been sent from New York City to take photos of Ireland for a travel magazine, and she knows the perfect area to visit: the mysterious, picturesque Wild Rose Bay.

Staying in her sister Kate’s sweet little cottage, the long nights and beach strolls inspire Tara. But Kate isn’t pleased with Tara’s assignment: she doesn’t want the untouched beauty of the area spoiled by tourists. And when Tara ignores Kate and heads out on her own, she encounters more opposition from Kate’s handsome friend Mick O’Dwyer.

Despite their differences, Tara soon finds herself captivated by Mick, and as he helps her research the area, they uncover a tumbledown farmhouse that holds a secret about Tara’s family. Soon Tara is forced to make a choice: should she give up her story and the career she’s always wanted, or the man and the country she’s falling in love with?

The ultimate escape to beautiful Ireland. Totally captivating from the first page to the last, Miracles in Wild Rose Bay is perfect for fans of Sheila O’Flanagan, Debbie Macomber and Mary Alice Monroe.

In my quest this year to expand my exposure to different reading genres outside of psychological thrillers and crime fiction, I took the opportunity to read Miracles in Wild Rose Bay when the offer presented itself. For photographer Tara O’Rouke, her latest assignment for a travel magazine has her leaving behind the hustle and bustle of New York City and travelling to Sandy Cove in her native Ireland. There, she is reunited with her twin sister Kate, who has misgivings of what this might mean for the town and what is bound to be an influx of tourists. But will Tara’s enthusiasm be extinguished when she and Mike, who she has a budding romance with, discover a rundown farmhouse that turns out, holds a long held family secret that she never new existed. The sixth instalment in the Sandy Cove series and which can be read as a standalone, I was taken in by Susanne O’Learys engaging storytelling and was lost in her prose. Each of her characters have been so well created, are relatable and just have you invested in them. A rural coastal town in Ireland, is the perfect backdrop for the story. It is just magical and is described so vividly, my bags were packed in my mind and I just wanted to be there. The setting is a ray of light and the perfect escape to get lost in with how dark the world is at the moment. Miracles in Wild Rose Bay is a beautiful and heartwarming story that captured my heart. A new author to me, Susanne O’Leary is the epitome of the romance genre and is one author I would like to read more from in the future.
