Youth Mental Health First Aid Training Registration
Youth Mental Health First Aid Training Registration
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents. It is primarily designed for adults who regularly interact with young people: parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring community members.
We will be offering an in-person session of Youth Mental Health First Aid on Friday, June 27 beginning at 8:00am in one of the upstairs rooms at the Kodiak Marketplace. More details will be available closer to the date of the training.
The day will include approximately 7 hours of content, a 1 hour break for lunch, and additional breaks throughout the day.
After you submit this form, you will receive an email from our instructors with further guidance on how to access your MHFA Connect account. This account is required to access the pre-course evaluation and quiz before the day of the training, as well as the final exam and your certificate after you have attended the in-person session.
