Baltimore County Detectives Investigate Circumstances Surrounding Woodlawn Shooting

UPDATE: MAY 5, 2025

28-year-old Elijah Lamback was pronounced deceased on Saturday, May 3, 2025 after sustaining a gunshot wound in the 1800 block of Woodlawn Drive on the morning of Friday, May 2. Lamback was transported from the scene after officers located him inside the Azuz Hookah Lounge. This investigation remains ongoing, as the search for suspects continues.

Reward Offered

Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact 410-887-4636 (INFO). Information may also be provided anonymously by contacting Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587(7LOCKUP). Information provided by phone or online through Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000. Residents may also provide details about this crime through the Baltimore County Police Department’s iWATCH program. 

ORIGINAL NEWS RELEASE: MAY 2, 2025

Detectives assigned to the Baltimore County Violent Crimes Unit continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding a shooting that occurred in the 1800 block of Woodlawn Drive this morning. At approximately 12:30 a.m., officers from Pct 2 – Woodlawn responded to the scene following reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they located two adult males, both with gunshot wounds. Detectives later learned of three additional walk-in victims at area hospitals, two of whom had gunshot wounds. As the search for suspects and persons of interest continues, detectives are asking anyone with information to contact 410-887-4636 (INFO).
