Seventy enthusiastic readers gathered at Copperfield's Books in Petaluma, Calif., last Friday to hear Julia Park Tracey talk about her historical novel, The Bereaved, the story of the Orphan Train and the mothers left behind that is based on the author's research into her grandfather's past as an adopted child. The Bereaved is the first title from Sibylline Press, formed last year to publish the work of women over 50.
