Today, we’re celebrating six amazing credit unions that continue to hatch joy, hope, and happiness in the communities they serve. CUs help families and organizations save and build their place in the community. From Easter egg hunts to wildlife rescues, these community champions are showing what it truly means to care. Let’s take a peek inside the beautiful ways these “nest eggs” are hatching joy in the neighborhoods in which they serve.
URW Community Federal Credit Union
URW Community Federal Credit Union turned Ballou Park into a wonderland during their 2025 Annual Top Dawg Kidz Club Easter Egg Hunt. More than 5,000 colorful eggs sparkled in the grass, waiting for excited kids to find them. Families bounced, slid, and laughed together with a petting zoo, bounce houses, and fun crafts. The Easter Bunny stopped by and brought smiles to little faces. URW’s Easter event grew a beautiful community nest egg filled with tradition, laughter, and love.
Texoma Community Credit Union
Texoma Community Credit Union made banking extra sweet during Easter week. Members who completed a transaction picked a special “nest egg” worth between $1 and $50. Excitement buzzed through the branches as lucky members revealed their surprise winnings on social media. Texoma created small but powerful moments of joy, one nest egg at a time. Their creative giveaway showed how simple acts can hatch strong community nest eggs across every branch.
VyStar Credit Union
VyStar Credit Union delivered big smiles with VyStar Family Day at the Clay County Agricultural Fair. Members enjoyed BOGO admission and ride armbands just by flashing their VyStar card. Families shared laughter on classic rides like the Ferris wheel and the Sea Ray pirate ship. Fried treats, dizzy rides, and endless memories filled the day with magic. VyStar planted many community nest eggs by turning a simple day at the fair into an unforgettable day with the family.
Red Crown Credit Union
Red Crown Credit Union stepped up for wildlife with a generous $1,100 donation to Wild Heart Ranch. Eleven team members joined forces to support the vital rescue and rehabilitation of wild animals. Their donation provided much-needed care for orphaned, injured, and sick wildlife in the community. Their gift grew a community nest egg of compassion, hope, and second chances for the wild.
NuMark Credit Union
NuMark Credit Union made Easter weekend extra special for families at two big events. They sponsored the Goggin Real Estate 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Paw Paw’s Easter Egg Hunt. Kids raced across Lions Park, scooping up colorful eggs and smiling for pictures with the Easter Bunny. NuMark’s team didn’t just sponsor—they celebrated, cheered, and created memories alongside local families. Great job, NuMark CU!
Ouachita Valley Federal Credit Union
Ouachita Valley Federal Credit Union showed its community spirit at the West Ouachita Wellness 2025 Spring Fling. Rain couldn’t dampen the fun as families enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt, chili cook-off, live music, and kid zones. Local makers filled the market, food trucks brought delicious eats, and kids giggled in every corner. Ouachita Valley also gave families a financial boost by covering the first deposit on new NextGen accounts. They hatched a community nest egg full of fun, freedom, and brighter futures for everyone.
