What you’ll be doing
-The Service manager will ensure that the service is fully compliant with CQC essential standards of quality and safety by regularly ensuring all relevant CQC standards are met and completing the quality framework. -Effective communication through regular team meetings and supervision of staff ensuring the team are well informed and encourage transparency and openness across the diverse working environment.-Ensure services are delivered within the monthly and annual budget.-Services and support will be delivered safely and effectively in line with all current regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.-Contract KPIs and deliverables will consistently be met or exceeded to ensure we are in the best possible position to retain the contract and win new work, enabling us to provide outstanding services to current and new clients.-To deliver safe patient care and outcomes monitored through feedback mechanisms and aftercare follow up.-Continued personal development will be ongoing to increase the service offer and own skill set in line with own PDP and service requirements.-Enable prescribing Team to deliver a safe and effective service, through regular Support, Process training, mentorship, and excellent leadership.-Oversee, and delegate areas of responsibility to the management team effectively to support operational delivery of the Pavilion.-Strong relationships will be established and developed across the group to maximise opportunities, support networks and collaboration.-Effectively promote the Facility t wider commissioners ad stakeholders to maximise growth and sustainable pathways with the Inpatient detox networks.-Informed service improvement plans will be in place, and you will continue to monitor and develop these with client and staff engagement to evidence continuous service improvement with annual action plans.-Positive wellbeing will be encouraged and promoted for both clients and staff.-Work closely with the HR business partner to implement the people strategy within the services.You can find more details on the role and key deliverables in the Role Profile.

What you’ll need to be a success
-Registered Manager with the CQC-To have or work towards a Level 7 Management qualification or have equivalent.-Have the skills required to act as a professional, understands areas of professional registrations such as the NMC Code of Conduct.-3 years of managing a Service within the substance misuse sector.-Budgetary and business skills knowledge-Evidence of developing, leading, and managing services within the substance use arena.-Resilience and adaptability – this are a changeable and demanding environment.-Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.-Good situational judgement and risk assessment.-Ability to work effectively as part of a team.-Evidence of updating practice and continued professional development.-Demonstrate knowledge of principles of clinical governance.
