Alabama has landed a commitment from a massive defensive tackle.

Kendell Jones, a four-star recruit from Killeen, Texas, gave a verbal commitment to play for the Crimson Tide following his spring game at Shoemaker High School. Jones' nickname is "Hulk."

Jones, who visited Alabama for A-Day, is listed at 6-foot-4 and 361 pounds. Jones is rated as the No. 66 player nationally in the 247Sports composite.

He picked Alabama over a top five that included Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor and LSU.

Jones is Alabama's ninth verbal commitment for the class of 2016.
