Overview
Brandon Lira sits within Stoel Rives’ Corporate department, where he concentrates his practice on representing corporate clients in bankruptcy proceedings and related litigation. Comfortable in both the courtroom and the boardroom, Brandon excels in advising and representing his clients in complex bankruptcies and transactions. His experience spans multiple industries and includes complex Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court workouts, and related litigation.
Before joining Stoel Rives, Brandon honed his skills as an associate in the Business Restructuring practice group of a national law firm. Brandon also had the distinction of serving the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois as a law clerk for Judge Thomas M. Lynch and Judge Donald R. Cassling. In between these clerkships, Brandon served as a staff attorney for the same court.
While attending law school, Brandon began developing his expertise by working as a student attorney and student director for the University of Minnesota Law School Bankruptcy Clinic. He furthered his hands-on experience by interning with the Office of the Standing Chapter 13 Trustee for the District of Minnesota and externing in the chambers of Judge Katherine Constantine of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota.
