Welcome the New Year with a stunning sunset backdrop as City Beach transforms into a playground of fun and festivities for all ages! Attend this free event on 31 December 2023, from 4pm to 9pm, for an unforgettable evening that promises to be the highlight of your holiday season.

Begin the celebration with a stroll along the Challenger Parade, where the air is filled with anticipation and laughter. Let the kids dive into the joy of play with our Giant Games, these are perfect for engaging the little ones and the young at heart. Meanwhile, the roaming entertainers will captivate you with their tricks and treats, popping up when you least expect them to spread smiles and surprises.

Important Information

Parking

Parking is available in all designated parking areas along the foreshore and at Fred Burton carpark. Overflow parking is available at Jubilee Park.

Road Closures & Traffic Management

There are no road closures planned for this event. There is however traffic management in place from 4pm to 10pm to assist with:

• Patrons parking in existing carparks and at the overflow parking location on Jubilee Park
• Patrons exiting the event post 9pm fireworks from Challenger Parade and West Coast Highway

Care for Pets

Fireworks can sometime be stressful for pets and other animals. There will be noise from the fireworks launched at 9pm which will last approximately 10 minutes.
