George Clarke, architect and Ecodan Ambassador, visits Grace Homes, a UK developer committed to building EPC A-rated sustainable homes – fit for the future. Installing Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan air source heat pumps on all their current, new-build homes, along with other sustainable technologies, including PV solar panels and battery storage solutions, enables Grace Homes to achieve the top A-rated Energy Performance Certificate. The Sysonby Lodge development at Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, consists of a courtyard of mews-style properties, a collection of detached and semi-detached homes and ten luxury homes in a thoughtfully renovated Grade II-listed lodge. Peter Hutorka, Construction Director for Grace Homes, discusses their ‘fabric-first’ approach to construction and going beyond the UK government’s Future Homes Standard specification. Matt Smith, Managing Director of Nigel Smith Plumbing & Mechanical Services Ltd, talks to George about the benefits of their fifteen-year partnership with Mitsubishi Electric and working closely with the Ecodan technical support team to overcome unique challenges associated with the project. Emily Smith, Sales & Marketing Manager for Grace Homes, tells George about the positive homeowner feedback she’s received regarding the Ecodan heat pumps and how energy efficiency and sustainability are now important decision-making factors for their customers looking to buy a new home. https://les.mitsubishielectric.co.uk/... https://www.gracehomes.co.uk/ https://nsmithplumbing.co.uk/
