ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA, US – The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) has promoted four staff members in recognition of their dedicated work in serving AFIA’s members and advancing its mission.

“We are thrilled to announce the promotion of four exceptional team members at AFIA,” said Constance Cullman, president and chief executive officer of the AFIA. “These promotions not only acknowledge their individual expertise and hard work but also underscore our commitment to fostering leadership opportunities within the AFIA.”

The following staff have been promoted, effective May 1:

  • Raamezah Ahmad, formerly AFIA’s manager of graphic and Web design, is now AFIA’s senior manager of graphic and Web design.
  • Erica Burson, formerly AFIA’s membership and database specialist, is now AFIA’s membership manager.
  • Shakera Daley, formerly AFIA’s accounting and administrative specialist, is now AFIA’s office and certifications manager and will be taking on administrative work within the Safe Feed/Safe Food certification programs.
  • Lynette Tucker, formerly AFIA’s meetings and events specialist, is now AFIA’s manager of meetings and sponsorships.
In addition to the promotions, the AFIA has adjusted Taylor Lekin’s title to marketing and program development specialist to better align with the roles and responsibilities of this newly created position.
