Event road closures
Bury Pride: On Saturday 7 June some roads in Bury town centre will be closed, or have restricted access, to ensure the safe holding of the Walking Rainbow Parade and Pride event. Some parking restrictions will also be in place during the closures. See more information about closures and diversions

Major road closures
Market Street, Bury town centre: From 27 May 2025, for approximately five months, Market Street will be closed between the Pyramid Park access road and the Bury Athletics track entrance. The closure is to allow for essential repairs to the bridge. See more information about the scheme and diversions.
Angouleme Way, Bury town centre: The eastbound carriageway will be closed from 7pm to 6am on certain dates for 32 weeks starting from February. See more information about specific dates and times.
Bury New Road, Whitefield: From Tuesday 6 May until Thursday 26 June, lane and junction closures will be in place at the junction with Church Lane. The closures are to allow for essential repair works to the Bee Network Metrolink tunnel. See more information about closures and diversions
