CHCx3 Herbal ley trial tour and talk

In conjunction with the Niab Open day, taking place earlier that day, CHCx3 are hosting a special tour of the Herbal ley trials that have been running for two years. In the trial there are four different mixes:
- High-diversity mix
- Medium-diversity mix
- Lamb finishing ley
- Simple lolium-clover mix
The talk will be led by Project Lead Dr Lydia Smith who will discuss the current findings from the trial and benefits of herbal leys in terms of soil improvement and carbon capture.
If you are interested in also attending the seperate Niab Open Day, please sign-up here. There will be a trailer taking guests from the Niab Open Day to the herbal ley tour after lunch. Please note: car entry to the CHCx3 Herbal Ley tour is a separate site entrance to the Niab Open Day. You cannot access the Herbal Ley Tour from the Open Day car park.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refreshments and the nearest toilet facilities are a 10 minute walk in the separate Niab Open Day demo field or at the services at the roundabout for the A1303.
