ENT UK Foundation Research and Training Prize in Memory of Rowena Ryan (RR Category): Best Trainee-Nominated Trainer Award

Trainees are invited to submit a 300 word abstract nominating a Consultant trainer for this award category and highlighting reasons for their nomination. We aim to acknowledge the many unsung efforts of grass-roots Consultants who dedicate their time, energy and commitment to teaching, training and mentorship. Nominees must be ENT UK members.

Abstracts should be a maximum of 300 words.

Nominees for the Best Trainee-Nominated Trainer Award should have a duration of sustained training experience as a consultant or specialist doctor.

Eligible nominees for the Best Trainee-Nominated Trainer Award will be asked to provide a one-page summary CV to be reviewed against the following criteria:

• Educational experience and its impact (1-5)
• Production of education material and its impact (1-5)
• Innovations in training and its impact (1-5)
• National educational work (1-5)
• International educational work (1-5)

Eligible nominees for the Best Trainee-Nominated Trainer Award will be asked to provide contact details for two references.
