Roundabouts Collection

Roadway roundabouts are enjoying some time in the spotlight. Many people associate them with merry old England, but they are very much an American phenomenon as well. You are likely to have seen one pop up near you. In the late 1990s, only nine state agencies reported a roundabout in operation, but that number grew to 38 states by 2016. Designs have adapted to maximize the benefits of roundabouts in both physical and cost constraints. Plans also increasingly consider pedestrians, bicyclists, and large trucks. The books in this collection provide guidance for the safe, efficient use of roundabouts.
