The TTC is hiring for a ton of high-paying jobs and here are some open roles

Although the TTC doesn't have the best reputation with some commuters in the city thanks to regular delays and route changes, the transit agency has actually earned recognition as one of Toronto's best employers in the past, and offers a comprehensive benefits package that covers health, dental and more. 

Some of the commission's open roles require more specialized training, whereas other high-paying opportunities focus more on your education. Whether you have a few years of experience or you're a veteran in your field, chances are you might find a role that aligns well with the qualifications and skills you have to offer. 

These are some of the current open job opportunities with the TTC that offer a yearly salary between $87,000 to $139,000:

Project Controls Analyst 

The transit agency is currently on the hunt for a Project Controls Analyst to join its project management office department. This person will be responsible for performing cost budgeting, analyzing and updating project costs, and monitoring contingency allowances. 

To qualify, you'll need a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline, such as business administration, combined with multiple years of related work experience with capital projects. C

ertification with the AACE (Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering) is considered an asset for this role. The position offers between $87,596.60 and  $109,509.40, and the last day to apply is May 13. 

Human Resources Advisor 

The TTC is looking to hire not one, not two, but three full-time positions within its human resources department. If selected, you'll be responsible for reporting to the manager of HR client services, and will contribute to the success of the agency's employees by developing and implementing HR solutions, strategies and programs. 

Your educational background should include the completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline, or a combination of education, training, and experience. This role pays between $87,596.60 and $109,509.40, depending on your experience, and you must submit your application by May 7. 

Property and Agreements Coordinator 

If you have a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in planning, urban studies, engineering or public administration, you might want to check out this role that pays between $111,129.20 and $138,975.20.

As the agency's Property and Agreements Coordinator, you'll be responsible for reviewing design submissions associated with the TTC Major Projects and Capital Works Program projects and liaising with project teams to identify temporary or permanent property requirements to facilitate construction.

Aside from your education, you should also have sound knowledge of property, real estate, property negotiations and leases. The last day to apply for this role is April 30.

Track Maintenance Specialist 

Reporting to the Senior Engineer, this role with the TTC is pivotal in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the subway track network. The role, which pays between $96,460.00 and $120,611.40, requires you to leverage your track maintenance expertise to investigate and assess the condition of the network's tracks. 

To qualify, you should have a completed university or college degree in a related discipline, as well as a sound understanding of track maintenance principles, methods, practices and techniques related to track inspection, construction and emergency repair. Your last day to apply for this position is May 1. 

Construction Contract Estimator 

In this role with the TTC, you'll be responsible for preparing various types of cost estimates required for managing changes associated with construction contracts. You'll also be required to prepare cost breakdown documents, quantity surveys, and reports required in the management of construction contracts. 

The ideal candidate should have a university degree or a college diploma in a related discipline and experience as an estimator within complex procurement departments. The role pays between $87,596.60 and $109,509.40, and you must submit your application by April 30.
