Why this petition matters

Started by c m

On July 21, 2014, the City of Guelph locked out 205 unionized Guelph Transit workers after the union representing them met to vote on a tentative agreement reached last week.

According to news sources, the current lockout could carry on until mid-November. Many Guelph residents including the elderly, those with physical disabilities, students, and those on fixed incomes, rely heavily on public transportation.

If you believe Guelph transit is an essential service, please sign this petition and pass it along to your friends, family and co-workers!

Please feel free to leave a comment below, explaining why Guelph city transit is important to you.
