A Brooklyn man claims in a $10 million lawsuit that he sustained a broken rib from a beatdown by a detective in the interrogation room of the 70th Precinct.

Chidozie Chinweuba was picked up by police for questioning about a robbery on June 27, said his lawyer, Amy Rameau.

Chinweuba alleges that he was kicked in the torso “over and over” by an unidentified detective after he refused to implicate himself in the robbery, according to the suit filed in Brooklyn Federal Court. Chinweuba was taken to Kings County Hospital and Maimonides Hospital three times over the next three days because he was spitting up blood, the suit states.

The city declined to comment on the suit.
