Morgan County Sheriff Ana Franklin said deputies and drug agents went to the home on Roberts Road after receiving information the suspect, 40-year-old Timothy "Timbo" Wayne Brown, was manufacturing meth there. Deputies also accuse Brown of buying pseudoephedrine illegally because he was convicted of manufacturing meth in 2013.

The county authorities went to the home with arrest warrants in hand. Brown wasn't home when they got there, but another man with active arrest warrants was. Deputies made contact with Darrell Bruce Reeves, 34. Franklin said Reeves was known to have active warrants with the Falkville Police Department. She said he led Hartselle officers on a high-speed chase earlier that day. Police say the chase was terminated after it crossed into Lawrence County.

Once agents were inside the home, they say they saw cold packs, lithium batteries, and a box of cold medicine containing pseudoephedrine. They obtained a search warrant had found a one-pot meth lab, gas generator, empty cold medicine box, lye, Drano, acid and fuel.

Reeves was arrested and charged with first-degree unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, trafficking meth and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Morgan County Jail on a $757,500 bond. The Punkin Center Volunteer Fire Department had to decontaminate him before he went to jail.

Brown has active felony warrant for first-degree unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, trafficking meth and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. Anyone with information on Brown's whereabouts should call or leave an anonymous tip with the Morgan County Sheriff's Office at 256-301-1174 or 256-301-1175.
