Pedestrian in critical condition after being hit by bus

MONTREAL – An 83-year-old man is critical condition after he was hit by an STM bus in Pointe St-Charles.

At around 12:15 this afternoon the man was walking near the intersection of Charlevoix and Centre when he was struck.

The pedestrian was rushed to the hospital with major injuries to his head.

The bus driver was treated for shock.

Investigators are still on the scene trying to figure out the details of the accident.
