Blackwood
is the author of "Passions In Paris" a romantic fiction novel that has

[St.
Catharines, Ontario, DATE, 2014] Canadian Indie author Rusty
Blackwood has announced a new interview that will appear on Indie
Author News on July 23, 2014. The new interview centers on her approach
to writing as an Indie Author and her latest romantic fiction novel,
"Passions In Paris: Revelations Of A Lost Diary".
"In
many ways I am happy to have obtained this in-depth interview,"
Blackwood stated. "To be allowed consideration of one's work by such an
auspicious site as this one is an important acquisition for any author,
as this sought after site allows great projection, and attention to an
individual's work, so in that respect I am extremely pleased to have
been given this opportunity to discuss mine." Blackwood's
romantic fiction novel is a sweeping saga written in the tradition of
Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' and 'What Dreams May Come'. It has been
compared to Erich Segal's 'Love Story' and Nicholas Sparks' 'The
Notebook'. The novel has also received extremely positive reviews from
Reader's Favorite reviewers and has a 4-star rating on Amazon. The book
was chosen as a finalist in Indie Author Land’s “50 Self Published
Books Worth Reading”. Rusty was also a finalist in The Authors Show “50
Great Writers You Should Be Reading” Awards.
"Passions In Paris"
celebrated a one year anniversary in June, having been released on June
19, 2013. This coincided with June being Literary Month throughout the
Niagara area. Blackwood read from "Passions In Paris" at the Pelham
Festival Book Fair on June 21st at the Pelham Public Library, a part of
the Grey Borders Niagara Literary Arts Festival. She also read three
selections of poetry at Cafe on Main on June 11th in Fonthill, Ontario
and an excerpt from "Passions" at William's Fresh Cafe in Niagara Falls
on June 13th. "Passions In Paris" has received rave
reviews from readers. Reader Fred Pifer stated the new romance book,
"is a fascinating book of a love story that seemed to be written with
me in mind. In the book 'Love Story' by Erich Segal, he told of a deep
abiding love story that reminds me of Cullen and Joy’s in Ms.
Blackwood’s book, but the twists of intrigue and mystery that she adds
keeps the reader on edge throughout." Another said, "Passions in Paris
I think stands it ground with these other powerful romantic stories
like 'The Notebook' by Nicolas Sparks."
Readers can download the
epub version of the book at Smashwords. 'Passions In Paris: Revelations
Of A Lost Diary' is also available at Amazon in paperback and Kindle
editions, Barnes and Noble in paperback and Nook editions, and Create
Space.
