Check Your Barclay Accounts! [Automatic payments not credited.]

Looks like Barclays has systems issues whereby automatic payments are not crediting properly and your Arrival miles disappear. Recommend that you have a look at your Arrival account to see what Barclays has been up to.

I think they're servicing the website. This looks exactly like what happened a couple of months ago. I got a bit worried and contacted Barclay. The website was operational about a day later (with no loss of data).
But I sure wish Barclay would put up a notifier banner when they cripple the site. Because these days, it could be Putin doing it.

They just do system maintenance whenever they want.

Been trying all day to get my new credit card activated.
Since this morning the website has been saying
"Hold tight...will be back online shortly".
Called in and they said they cannot help me with the activation.

Think you are Russian to conclusions.

I logged in a few days ago and it said my payment was due days before that. But then in recent activity it showed the same amount paid in full a week earlier!

I called up Barclay, went through the automated menu, and it gave me no such nonsense in reporting my account status.

That's when I concluded it was the website lying to me.

My miles aren't visible on the website right now. However, everything else is correct and in its usual location. I'm not concerned.

Yep, the rewards module is down for me on my co-branded Barclaycard. There is a message on the login page.

I had this happen to me (just the payment not crediting part) with my Barclaycard UK account. They didn't send the direct debit order properly. It was quite frustrating.

Earlier this week I received an email from Barclays stating
We are writing to inform you that your account is nearing the spending limit you specified
In fact, I have never set such a limit.
And my account balance was zero.

I SM'ed Barclays; they apologized, saying that this was a system error
which they were working on correcting.
Two days later I received the same spending limit email again.
