Gunman sought in Wilmington shooting

WILMINGTON -- Police are looking for the gunman who shot a 30-year-old man in the chest and leg in Wilmington, Delaware Thursday night.

The shooting occurred around 8:50 p.m. along Pine Street near 22nd Street.

Officers arrived to find the victim lying near the intersection.

He was taken to Christiana Hospital by ambulance. He is in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a black male with dreads and dark clothing.

He was last seen heading northbound on Pine Street.

Police continue to investigate.
