These Samsung Devices Are Getting Android 7.0 Nougat

Samsung started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat to its latest Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge handsets, Samsung is also planning to keep some of its older devices up to date. These are the first handsets and tablets listed:

• Galaxy S6
• Galaxy S6 Edge
• Galaxy S6 Edge Plus
• Galaxy Note 5
• Galaxy Tab A with S Pen
• Galaxy Tab S2 (LTE unlock)
• Galaxy A3
• Galaxy A8

Samsung said: it plans to make Nougat available on these devices “within the first half of this year,” but if your phone or tablet isn’t unlocked you’ll have to wait for your carrier to approve and provide the Android 7.0 Nougat update.
