TEXT2DRIVE’s Group Chat is another useful feature of our Auto Dealership Text Messaging Software. It allows any manager or employee the ability to create chat rooms to communicate with an entire group of other employees. Useful for sending group messages to individual departments or the entire dealership.

TRANSCRIPT:
A manager or an employee can login to TEXT2DRIVE and select the Group Chat icon and create a new chat room. An employee simply presses the Create Room button and begins creating a room to chat in.
The employee who creates a chat room gives it a name, can assign a topic, but more importantly, they can protect the room so the information and the data contained in that chat is never deleted. now the person who created the chat room begins to invite other employees to that room.
Now in this example our good friend, Gregg’s going to invite four other employees to this room. Any employee who is logged into TEXT2DRIVE can be invited to the room very simply. You can sit back and watch as Gregg invites the various employees that he wants to chat with in his room.
Once the chat room is created, all the employees that Gregg wants to chat with all see the communications between the entire group all of the same time.
Chat rooms could be created for a specific service issue or for managers to communicate quickly from their desk or mobile device to any employee or group of employees. You're seeing employees as they receive a communication from Gregg, engaging with the group on whatever subject or whatever question maybe asked.
A manager can set up a Group Chat room in advance and use that to send mass communications to the entire service department, or parts department, or the entire dealership all at one time.
Now if employees want to share either video or photos with each other within the chat, it's really simple with TEXT2DRIVE. The employee simply finds the video or photo they want to share with the group, they go to their desktop, retrieve it, and drop it right in the Group Chat upload section of TEXT2DRIVE. You're seeing it right now.
