Picture This: How Can You Write and Adapt For Screen? Sponsored by ALCS

September 23, 2019 - 8:00 pm at Covent Garden

In our first event after the summer break we will be looking at the exciting and often lucrative world of writing and adapting for screen. We will be talking about adapting for film in general but our sponsors ALCS are also interested in highlighting a report commissioned by The Writers' Guild of Great Britain and funded by ALCS that showed how women and people from diverse backgrounds often get overlooked in the film industry.

Jason Solomons (TV and radio presenter) will chair our panel and he'll be joined by author and screenwriter, Emma Jane Unsworth, film director, Lucy Brydon, film producer, Mia Bays and scriptwriter Shai Hussain.

Not only will attendees have the opportunity to learn about writing for screen they will also have the chance to  network with film folk, authors, agents and publishers before and after the discussion.

This event will be at a private venue in Covent Garden. We will tell you the location of the event closer to the date and once you have registered.

Entrance is free for Byte the Book members. Tickets are £25 plus booking fee for everyone else.

If you're not already a member of Byte The Book you can join us here.

We are very grateful for our sponsors for this event:
