In 2001, he beat Furyk with a birdie on the seventh extra hole. ... Rory McIlroy is making his first start since winning the British Open. ... The Wyndham Championship, the last event before the FedEx Cup playoffs, is next week at Sedgefield in Greensboro, North Carolina.
