Congratulations to the 2018 Powerful Youth Project Grants recipients

Congratulations to the 219 schools and youth groups across Victoria that have been awarded a Powerful Youth Project grant of up to $1000, for projects involving children caring for and learning about our natural environment.

Following a successful first year in 2017, which saw more than 24,000 Victorian students engaging in projects, the Powerful Youth Projects program, funded by Momentum Energy through its partnership with Junior Landcare started rolling out again earlier this year.

In 2018, we received a high number of applications showing that there is a passion in the community for teaching the next generation about caring for our natural environment.

To encourage the enthusiasm shown by so many schools, Momentum Energy generously increased their funding to ensure that instead of 200 schools, 219 schools across Victoria were awarded grants.
