Sandcastle Suites, Extreme Sports Stadium to be removed
The hotel, including Breakwater Cafe, and the entertainment venue will be demolished over the off-season

Cedar Point announced today that Sandcastle Suites Hotel, Breakwater Cafe, and Extreme Sports Stadium will be demolished over the off-season.
Sandcastle Suites and Breakwater Cafe opened in 1990 at the tip of the Cedar Point peninsula. Extreme Sports Stadium first hosted dolphin and sea lion shows as Oceana when it opened in 1980.
No word yet on what the future holds for these two locations.
Also announced, the Boardwalk will be extended from WindSeeker all the way to the main parking lot.
