Police: Man shot on steps in Wilmington

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Police in Delaware say a man was shot while he was sitting on steps outside in Wilmington.

It happened shortly after midnight Sunday on the 1000 block of West 2nd Street.

Police say the man suffered gunshots to the shoulder and leg.

He was rushed to Christiana Hospital for treatment.

The search continues for the shooter.
