Call us avo-obsessed, but we've tried this little green fruit in just about every possible form and we still can't get enough. Stuffed, shaved, spread on sammies — when you love avocados as much as we do, you're always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to eat 'em.

That's why we were so excited when POPSUGAR introduced us to a new baking hack: You can actually substitute some of the butter in your baked good recipes with avocado!

According to the people at POPSUGAR, the best way to make the substitution is to replace half of the butter in your recipe with the same amount of mashed avocado. (FYI: One avocado typically yields about three-quarters of a cup.) Sadly, you can't sub out all of the butter — your baked goods will come out flatter if you do. But the swap is still so worth it, because your finished product will turn out softer, moister, and significantly better for you: Half a cup of unsalted butter contains 810 calories, while half a cup of avocado contains just 184 calories. Sounds like a pretty sweet —err... creamy? — deal, does it not?

Now get baking!
