When and where is SIGMA?

  • The SIGMA IE Career Fair will be held in-person at the Purdue France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center on Monday, September 11th from 9am to 3pm. 

  • The virtual portion of the fair will be held through Career Fair Plus on Monday, September 11th from 6pm to 9pm. 

  • Companies will also host Virtual Information Sessions to provide students with more detail about their organization/roles. These sessions will be held through Career Fair Plus on Monday, September 11 from 3pm to 6pm.

  • A map for the in-person fair as well as the full list of companies attending will be available on the Career Fair Plus website and mobile app.

How do I attend?

  • At the in-person fair, you may walk up to the companies of your choosing and speak with their representatives. 

  • At the virtual fair, you must schedule an appointment on Career Fair Plus to speak with companies. 

How do I use Career Fair Plus to schedule appointments/view the map?

  • To schedule appointments, you must create a Career Fair Plus account using your Purdue email. If you do not use your Purdue email, you will not be able to schedule appointments for the fair. 

  • From the app, you will be able to see the companies in attendance for the in-person and virtual fair (and sort by majors recruited, GPA requirement, Visa status, etc.).

  • The window to schedule appointments for the virtual fair opens Monday, August 28th at 7am. You are initially limited to 2 appointments with the restriction lifted September 4th at 7am.

 

What do I need to bring / wear / prepare?

  • Come prepared with copies of your resume and a well prepared elevator pitch. 

  • Dress in business casual attire (polo/blouse and slacks or equivalent).
