Are they suspects or perpetrators? Did the suspects really hold suspects at gunpoint while seizing cash? Was there an exchange of gunfire or only apparent exchange of gunfire? I’m confused by this report.
Melody< it looks from the report that there were two groups of suspect. One was holding another at gunpoint and seizing the cash from Home Depot at the same time. One can say that these were very capable suspects. The other group of suspects was much less capable
STOP THE VIOLENCE IN THE VIRGIN ISLANDS! ?
Why our islands is fully of criminals. The hurricanes didn’t teach them nothing they should be thankful for life.
From 2010, the crime rate in the territory has been high. The government and VIPD including the residents of this community need to enforce some strictly laws to our islands safe. In 2016, the FBI said that the Virgin Islands has the highest murder rate in the country. We have to do something to end this because maybe that’s one of the reasons why some mainland Americans forget us after the hurricanes and the territory population is mostly black.

Six reasons why the U.S. Virgin Islands is struggling with high crime.
1. Arabians owning shops here and selling guns.
2. The kind of soca music playing these days from Trinidad and have people going crazy.
3. The people mentality.
4. Caribbean migration and people who are criminals is coming into the territory.
5. Columbus named the islands after Saint Ursula and her 11,000 virgins who was killed.
6. Police officers in the territory don’t patrol our communities everyday.
When President Trump took office, he put a travel ban on several foreign countries in the Eastern world. It was passed to block immigrants and terrorist from coming into America. We need to protect and keep our islands safe from criminals.
Puerto Rico is facing a humanitarian crisis but the Virgin Islands has a worse crisis that need to end. After Irma and Maria passed through the territory as category 5 hurricanes and caused catastrophic damage on our islands. Some people hasn’t change. God help the VI.
I hope their find the suspects and lock them up. Thank God nobody was hurt.

Less population, but the same cultural issues of nepotism and corruption abound.
Oh, and I have the book. Hard to find. Some won’t want to hear it, it’s not that deep, but things haven’t changed much since 1973. The power brokers have simply gotten richer.
